The Strategic Sales concept he created generated over $30 billion in new contract value since its inception in 1997. Several of these large business deals resulted in strategic alliances creating growth opportunities for EDS and its business partners.

As Relationship Executive to BellSouth, Mike formed a strategic alliance in early 1997. The focus of the relationship consisted of a joint marketing program offering network-based services and electronic commerce solutions through a Managed Network Solutions sales channel. He then joined Raytheon Company in 1964, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including President and General Manager of Raytheon’s Data Services Division. He was responsible for the business strategy and overall direction of a new business venture that provided software development products, applications development services and computer services to commercial clients. As Raytheon’s CIO, he was recognized by the Patriot Missile Program for his contribution to software engineering.

From 1982 to 1986, Mr. Fischer worked at Martin Marietta Aerospace in Orlando, Florida, serving first as CIO and later assuming additional responsibility for Manufacturing Resource Planning. There he was responsible for all information management services of the Aerospace Missile Division and for all business operations, including a $1B outsourcing contract with multiple vendors. From January 1986 to November 1988, Mr. Fischer served as Executive Consultant to American Standard, in Piscataway, New Jersey where he provided leadership, direction, education, and global information technology consulting services.
